DataSafe

DataSafe is an encryption program which operates in conjunction with APT’s Connect-iP. It automatically encrypts the data file from a payroll system, before it is put through the BACS process. This will prevent the data file from being opened and viewed, and even more seriously, from being fraudulently edited by any unauthorised personnel.

IT security has become one of the most important aspects of data protection for many companies.

However, one area that is often ignored is the protection of BACS data after it has been exported from an application and before it is submitted to BACS.
